We at EventSprout are big advocates for making it as easy as possible for your customers to purchase tickets to your events - that’s why we’ve been telling all of our Event Organizers about our embeddable ticket widget. Embedding your event’s unique EventSprout ticket widget into your event website saves your customers time and simplifies the check-out process.
Making it Easier for Your Customers to Buy Your Tickets With Our Embeddable Ticket Widget
Think about the last time you purchased tickets to a show, concert, or festival. Were you prompted to click on an email link, and then an event page link, and then (finally) a ticket page link? That seems like a lot of steps. At EventSprout, we believe fewer clicks = happier customers, which is why we make it easy to embed our ticket widget onto your website. We know that the simpler it is to check-out on your website, the less likely it is that your customers will get bored (or frustrated) & give up on purchasing tickets altogether.
With our embeddable ticket widget, you don’t have to send your customers to EventSprout after they’ve already landed on your website. Once your customers click the “Buy Tickets” button on your page, a box (known as the ticket widget) will pop up with all of the ticket options listed. They can then browse their options and add tickets to their cart, all without leaving your site.
For an even quicker buying process, you can take your customers directly to an advertised ticket. No more jumping from website to website - with a little bit of coding magic, your customer will be happy to be spared from extra clicks & loading time.
How To Sell Tickets On Your Website Using Our Ticket Widget
Once you’ve set up your event through EventSprout, embedding your ticket widget on your own website is quick and easy. If you’re interested in setting up an embeddable ticket widget on your website, follow the instructions below:
- Embed your unique EventSprout event link on the “Buy Tickets” button on your website. This link can be found at the top of the “Event Details” section in your EventSprout account.
Ex: https://eventsprout.com/event/beerfestival
*NOTE: If you have multiple ticket buttons on your website (for example, a "General Admission Tickets" button and a "VIP Tickets" button), you can generate individual links for them all. Just click on the three dots to the right of the group or ticket type that you'd like to link, and select "copy link." Then, insert the link in the appropriate button on your website.
2. Next, embed the following code snippet somewhere on your page (in the header or footer):
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://cdn.eventsprout.com/embed/js/embed.js"></script>
3. That's it! Easy, right?
