Event Information

Join us for a full weekend of Circus Arts, Dance, Yoga & More in Seattle, WA!

Flow Fest Seattle (formerly known as Northwest Flow Fest) features a full day of Workshops, Performances, Vendors, and more the weekend of Saturday, June 14th! We'll kick things off with a Community Fire Jam on Friday, June 13th at Volunteer Park, and will end on Sunday, June 15th with a full day flow jam and games. All Flow Fest Seattle events are free to attend, but a workshop pass gets you access to everything we have to offer!

By magical happenstance, this year's event falls on World Juggling Day! We couldn't be more thrilled to celebrate in our home town in solidarity with the worldwide juggling community.

To find full information about each day's events, please visit the Seattle Flow Arts Collective calendar.

Please note that advance registration is required by 6/6/25 for those who wish to spin fire at the Community Fire Jam on 6/13. Everyone who purchases a workshop pass prior to 6/6/25 will automatically be registered. **Registration link coming soon**

**Due to a schedule conflict, we're not able to host the Saturday event at Volunteer Park this year! The Friday Fire Jam will still be at Volunteer Park in the Dahlia Garden! We'll be releasing the new location as soon as we're confirmed. We will still be in Seattle.**

Event registration will open at 9am on June 14.

What are FLOW FESTS?

Flow Fests, presented by Monkey Dust Productions, are free public festivals that also offer master artist workshops for dance participants by day,  parties and performances by night. Workshops in the areas of Prop Manipulation, (hoop dance, juggling, poi and staff spinning), Dance (Swing Dance, Belly Dance, African Dance, Capoeira, Breakdance, etc), and Yoga (and Acro Yoga) will run simultaneously, giving participants many different dance and flow arts workshop opportunities at any given time. This allows novice participants the option of sampling different skill sets and styles, and maintains the rigor of depth within each form for experts looking to sharpen their skills.

Northwest Flow Fest represents a special partnership between FLOW FESTS and SEATTLE FLOW ARTS COLLECTIVE, one of the only 501(C)(3) organizations supporting flow arts in the nation.

What are FLOW ARTS?

Flow arts are forms of movement and dance that utilize props to enter a state of flow, described by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi as an exhilarating transcendent way of being in which effortless control and peak skill seem to erase a sense of time. Flow arts props include poi, staff, hoops, and much more; dancers manipulate props to add to the expressive qualities of their dance. The result is an awe-inspiring visual spectacle of improvised movement that inspires an audience to reconsider kinetic possibilities.

How much are workshops?
All workshops are included in the Workshop Pass.  Workshop Passes are $70 at the door, but you can save by booking early!  Early bird workshop passes will be available for $40 through May 13, and advance workshop passes will be available for $55 from May 14 through June 13th.

So it’s FREE to watch??

YES! We aren’t fans of fences; we are working to make flow arts MORE ACCESSIBLE. So please come for FREE, and get excited about what we’re doing. Free workshops and free performances are scheduled throughout the day and into the evening to support the general public in getting into the flow! There will also be music throughout the day, lots of dancing, and a unique collection of arts and crafts vendors, many selling flow props that are hand-crafted and hard to find.

We'll be sharing updates about workshops and other event details on our social media! Follow @seattle.flow.arts and @flowfests on Instagram and Facebook to stay hip to what's going down!
